Pastor Ken’s Retirement Celebration

Dear Fellow Samaritans,

With hearts full of gratitude, we come together to give thanks to God for the many faithful years of ministry that Pastor Ken Harste has dedicated to the proclamation of God’s Mercy and Grace. As he enters into retirement, we reflect on the countless ways he has touched our lives—with his wisdom, his prayers, and his unwavering love for God’s people.

To honor and celebrate Pastor Ken and his years of service, we invite you to join us for a Retirement Celebration on Sunday, May 4th. This will be a special program of fellowship, reflection, and appreciation as we express our heartfelt thanks for his dedication to shepherding our church and the four other churches he has served over the last forty-three years.

As part of this celebration, we encourage you to share your stories, notes of gratitude, and cherished memories of times when Pastor Ken has made a difference in your life. Whether it was through a sermon, a comforting word, a prayer, or a special moment of encouragement, your words will be a treasured gift. We also invite you to share pictures that captured these meaningful moments. These memories will be compiled for a display at the program.
