Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Imagine making a difference in the life of a child across the world.  You can! It’s as simple as packing a shoebox.  You can use your own shoebox or a similar size container or pick up one from the Next Steps table at worship.

Step 1: Decide if you want your gift to go to a boy or a girl.

Step 2: Decide an age range Ages 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14.

Step 3: Include the following:  A “wow” toy, school supplies, hygiene items, a personal letter and a picture of your family. *Please note that if you packed boxes before, toothpaste and candy are no longer allowed.

Step 4: Pray for the child that will be receiving your box.

Step 5: Include $9 for shipping or better yet go to  https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/follow-your-box/ to purchase your shipping label and you’ll be able to track which country your shoe box was delivered to!

Drop off your boxes at Samaritans Hill by November 15th.
