Guest Vocalist Jon Olson

December 5, 2021 10:00 am

Samaritans Hill will have the privilege of welcoming back guest vocalist Jon Olson on Sunday, December 5th, during our morning worship service. Jon will be leading worship along with our worship team that day and will share a few special Christmas songs with us, as well. This is a great day to invite a friend with you to church!

About Jon:

Jon has been singing professionally ever since he received a vocal scholarship from Bethel University. While touring with the Bethel Choir, he helped form the band Poor Baker’s Dozen. “PBD” recorded four albums and toured the country extensively over 13 years (*and had a song that hit #1 on CCM radio…but only in Green Bay and Costa Rica!). These days Jon has happily put away his touring gear, enjoying instead to stay closer to home with his 5 awesome kiddos and amazing wife Kristin. He is a teacher in Andover, and he leads worship regularly at GracePoint Church. He still loves singing throughout the Twin Cities whenever he can. Jon is very excited to have the opportunity to come back to Samaritans Hill. What a beautiful season to celebrate our precious savior: the HOPE and the LIGHT of the world!
