Community Prayer

Each year we set aside time at the end of summer to pray for various aspects of our community (schools, businesses, neighborhoods & families, churches, local government, and more). In the past, we have split into small groups to drive to various locations to pray. As with so many things this year, we are making some changes.  We will be meeting in the sanctuary, socially distanced, to pray for our community. We currently have two dates set aside – Wednesday, August 19^th and Wednesday, August 26^th at 6:30 PM. The prayer time will last about 1 hour. Individuals desiring to prayer walk the neighborhood surrounding Samaritans Hill afterward are welcome to do so.

 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
    and he brought them out of their distress.
He stilled the storm to a whisper;
    the waves of the sea were hushed.
